Your assistant
Context and safe access are the foundation. This is what turns them into an assistant you can rely on. Okashic provides the machinery so the benefit reaches everyone, not just developers — and keeps it out of the way, so you experience one thing: an assistant that knows your context and gets real things done.
Wiki — durable memory
A per-person wiki your agent reads and keeps current, so it works from accumulated context instead of starting cold each session. You capture notes; the agent synthesizes and maintains them. The wiki lives in your vault’s files, end-to-end encrypted like everything else.
Scripts — repeatable tasks
A recurring job — a morning brief, a sync, a report — runs as a stored script rather than being re-reasoned each time. A script runs the same way every run, so it’s cheap, fast, and consistent, and each run is audited. The daily brief is a script.
Skills — teaching an agent Okashic
Skills are packaged instructions that teach an agent the conventions for working through Okashic — least context, correct tool use, the audit discipline. With them, a capable assistant is the default, not something you have to engineer. Skills are how you set up an agent like Claude or Hermes to use Okashic well.
Apps — shared context
You or your agent can stand up a self-contained App whose cards you both read and write — a to-do list, a tracker, a dashboard. It’s how the two of you share state around a task without you managing files or formats.
